The company is expanding its presence in Brazil, where its products are already certified for the market, and is building a local team to support continued commercial and clinical growth.
About the Role
We're looking for experienced Clinical Specialists with direct suture sales experience to support the company's expansion in Brazil.
This is a highly field-based, customer-facing position combining clinical expertise with commercial responsibility. You'll work directly with hospitals, surgeons, operating room teams, and other healthcare professionals to demonstrate and sell the company's suture portfolio, support procedures, provide clinical education, and accelerate product adoption.
Previous hands-on experience selling sutures is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates without direct suture-selling experience will not be considered.
The initial focus will be the company's suture portfolio, with opportunities to support additional medical device portfolios as they become available in the Brazilian market.
Why This Opportunity?
- Join a global medical device company expanding its presence in Brazil.
- Work directly with surgeons, hospitals, and operating room teams.
- Combine clinical knowledge with medical device sales and business development.
- Represent an established suture portfolio in a growing market.
- Earn performance-based incentives in addition to base compensation.
- Gain future exposure to additional surgical and medical device portfolios.
Suture Sales & Market Development
- Promote and sell the company's suture portfolio to hospitals, surgeons, and healthcare professionals.
- Identify new commercial opportunities and support market development within the assigned territory.
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, hospital decision-makers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Support customer acquisition, product adoption, and revenue growth.
- Gather competitor intelligence and market feedback.
- Provide on-site clinical support during surgical procedures.
- Conduct product demonstrations for surgeons, nurses, and operating room teams.
- Provide technical guidance on product usage and applications.
- Support product evaluations, trials, and new customer onboarding.
- Ensure healthcare professionals confidently and correctly use the company's products.
- Deliver product training and clinical education to healthcare professionals.
- Build long-term relationships with hospitals, surgeons, and clinical teams.
- Work independently in the field while maintaining close communication with regional and international leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of commercial and clinical activities.
Required Qualifications

- Experience working directly with hospitals, surgeons, and operating room teams.
- Strong understanding of surgical environments and clinical workflows.
- Proven customer-facing, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to combine clinical knowledge with a strong commercial and sales mindset.
- Professional English proficiency (B2+/C1) for regular communication with international management.
- Ability to work independently without a local office structure.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field visiting hospitals and customers.
- Availability for frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in Wound Closure or related surgical specialties.
- Existing relationships with surgeons, hospitals, distributors, or healthcare professionals.
- Experience supporting product launches or new market development.
- Experience conducting clinical product demonstrations and training.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
